Even Netflix is baffled by the latest internet “challenge.”
Netflix is very happy that so many people are watching the new Sandra Bullock thriller ‘Bird Box,’ so far more than 45 million viewers have watched it.
However, they would like you to please stop participating in the ‘Bird Box Challenge.’
If you haven’t seen any yet, people are posting videos of themselves attempting various activities while blindfolded, which obviously can be a safety risk, especially with some videos that include tasks like cooking or even chopping firewood.
Netflix felt the need to remind their fans with a tweet that they do not condone such challenges:
Can’t believe I have to say this, but: PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE. We don’t know how this started, and we appreciate the love, but Boy and Girl have just one wish for 2019 and it is that you not end up in the hospital due to memes.

Please use your head for something other than smashing blindfolded into a wall!
