Bob Estes

I got interested in radio back in the early 60’s when my Dad worked for KLWW radio in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Then In 1967 we moved to New Hampshire where Dad started working for WLNH. When I was 15 years old (1968) I got my 3rd Class radio Broadcasters license and that was just the beginning.

I have worked at WLNH off and on, between other ventures, since 1968 when I worked on the air doing weekend evening shifts. (Anyone remember ‘The Wonderful World of Gold?’) and was a part of the Laconia High School radio club “Club 135.”

I have been at about 18 radio stations all over New England over the years, but my roots seem to be planted here in New Hampshire. So here I am back again working weekends.
